Farm Country Tour
You have a relaxing ride through the Amish fields and farmland just north of Bird In Hand. We’ll ride by some of the most beautiful farms in Lancaster County and see other sites along the way, such as an Amish School House, Menonite church and beautiful rolling hills. Depending on the day and time of year you may see the farmers working in the fields growing crops, such as corn and alfalfa.
Some of these farms have remained in the Amish families for hundreds of years, dating back to when the Amish came to the New World in the 1700’s. This is the perfect ride for families with young children because it is very relaxing, and they will see plenty of farm animals. This is also a great ride for talking with the drivers about the Amish and Amish life.
